100 Thieves - Showing a huge improvement from Spring Split. They lost two games this last weekend, which kind of ruined their incredible run, but the run is still very, very good. 14-4 This split, currently first in standings, but their lead is very weak, since they finished the Spring Split in 4th place.

TSM - Having pretty much a solid split, just like in Spring. Currently second in standings, looking to maybe take away the first place spot from 100 Thieves. Last split they were second to Cloud9. TSM did lose to 100 Thieves this week, so they need to find the wins needed elsewhere.

Cloud9 - Not the best showing from C9. After winning the Spring Split, they dropped two places and are currently sharing the third spot with a few other teams. Seems that they still lack stability in their play. Sometimes it's Zven inting, sometimes it's Perkz or the rest of the team. When they are good though, they showed potential to beat anyone. But winning Summer Split will prove a very difficult task for current Cloud9.

Evil Geniuses - they are having a great split. The 12-8 Summer Split is the second best score out of everyone in the league. They have risen by 3 places since Spring. And they had a very good weekend, going 3:0 and beating Cloud9, 100 Thieves and Immortals. Evil Geniuses seem to be the most improved team since Spring.

Team Liquid, Immortals, Dignitas, FlyQuest, Counter Logic Gaming and Golden Guardians. These teams don’t get a separate writeup, because they did not do anything this split. Most of them are staying in the same spot as in Spring Split. Same mistakes and same plays. Every team apart from TL has a losing record in Summer. CLG showed some hope with team comps that create action (for example Vi, Galio) but soon that strategy got figured out and countered.  None of these teams showed any potential to make a run at the playoffs yet.
